Area Learning Leaders Build Research Capacity
AISI Learning Leaders participated in Action Research workshops at the University of Calgary in October. The University of Calgary, Faculty of Education sponsored 2 half day workshops with Drs. Stephen Kemmis, Ros Brennan Kemmis and Robin McTaggart, providing an opportunity to support strong research-focused AISI Cycle 5 initiatives. Dr. Stephen Kemmis was one of the first researchers who articulated and defined the field of Action Research. He has continued to contribute to the field to this date, bringing together teaching and research through praxis.
